Itinerary:

Welcome to Almaty, the land of apples. The name of Almaty or “Alma Tau” literally means Apple Mountain and here in the Tian Shan Mountains there are many varieties of apples including the wild apples.

Our team will meet you on your arrival in the city and it can be Almaty International Airport or any other station.

You will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening you can enjoy a short city tour and visit some of the main attractions of Almaty.

You will admire the scenic beauty of Almaty, with its stunning landscapes and vibrant city life. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant during the city tour. Welcome dinner at restaurant

Shymbulak is one of the largest ski resorts in Central Asia. The resort is located 25 km from Almaty at an altitude of 2250m / 7’380ft.

Here you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Ile-Alatau National Park, including the stunning Talgar Mountain.

There are 5 cable cars and the highest one can take you to an altitude of 3200m/ 10’500ft above sea level.

Shymbulak Ski Resort is popular among tourists for its excellent skiing and snowboarding facilities.

Today we drive to the Kolsai Lakes National Park where you can enjoy the stunning frozen Kaindy and Kolsai Lakes.

Kaindy is one of the most unique lakes formed as a result of an earthquake in 1911. Here you can enjoy lakes with trees.

The next attraction is the lower Kolsai Lake. This is one of the three system lakes known as the “Pearl of Tien Shan”.

Kolsai Lakes are a prime destination for travelers seeking natural beauty and tranquility.

Charyn Canyon is a stunning natural wonder known for its beautiful scenery and unique rock formations that have been shaped by water and wind erosion to create colourful sculptures and breathtaking scenery.
