The city of Almaty is the most populous city in Kazakhstan and is the largest and cultural centre of Kazakhstan. The city includes the best highlights such as the Green Bazaar, 28 Panfilov Park, Kok Tobe Hill, Medeu Ice Rink and Shymbulak Ski Resort. It is almost impossible to see all these places and you need at least 3 days or make a difficult decision and choose the attractions.

Here you can visit the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which played a very important role during the Cold War between the USSR and America. And another no less exciting attraction in southern Kazakhstan is a visit to the Aral Sea, truly one of the great tragic mistakes of the USSR rulers.
If you are looking for a view of Marsian and mysterious natural wonders, you must visit a region of Mangystau. The Bozjyra tract is one of the most picturesque places in Kazakhstan. The Valley of Balls, where you can see the whole valley of giant stone balls. The Sherkala Mountains, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view and finally visit the city of Aktau and enjoy the beautiful Caspian Sea.
